On Saturday morning, I was walking to the bakery with my mother, when I didn’t know why, I stepped off the curb without looking at both sides. Immediately, I was hit by a car whose driver drove away. My mother was shocked. What a nightmare! She didn’t believe what was happening.
After a few minutes, she called an ambulance, so we went to Accident and Emergency. Two orderlies moved me to the X-ray department. I had an X-ray of my head taken. After that, a doctor took my pulse and my temperature. Then, he listened my heart and my lungs with his stethoscope. Finally, after the scan results, the doctor said that I was out of any real danger like a hairline fracture of the skull. I thanked him and I drove home.
