This building comprises teaching laboratories for the chemistry, geology and physics departments.
The design structural and MEP models have been created in Revit Structure and Revit MEP. This Revit documentation were provided to the contractor and were the support of detailed models that enabled the contractor to coordinate and locate each MEP ceiling anchor prior to concrete pours, so that very few post-installed anchors were required. During construction the MEP contractor’s 3D model anchor locations were fed into a Total Station, a survey device which uses GPS system, for precise anchor point locations on site.
